Box Tops: There are just two weeks left to collect Box Tops for this quarter! Every Box Top you collect is worth 10¢ and will directly benefit your child’s teacher and classroom. Teachers will receive checks to spend on any needs they have for their classrooms. Last quarter, eight classes earned over $50 each, including one class that earned $83! Don’t forget to continue collecting Box Tops during Spring Break. All Box Tops are due by Friday, April 1st. Thank you supporting Richland’s teachers!
TN Ready test for grades 3-5 are March 9-17
TN Ready – Procedure Changes: Due to testing security protocol, we cannot dismiss any students in the middle of testing so please make all doctor/dentist appointments for after 12:00, and make sure your child is present through March 17 to take this very import test. Any student who is absent the entire week of testing will be required to submit a doctor’s note upon return to school.
TN Ready – How to Prepare: Parents play an important part in helping their children give their best performance on a test. Help your child get to bed on time. Get up early to avoid rushing. Eat a breakfast that contains protein and complex carbohydrates. Be sure to have your child at school on time with proper supplies. Be positive about the test. Acknowledge that tests can be hard, and some anxiety is normal. Explain that doing your best is what counts
Le Bonheur Bunny Lane March 10-17 – Bunny Lane provides toys for children who undergo surgery at Le Bonheur. They need the most of the following types of toys: Barbie dolls (all ethnicities), other dolls (African American and Asian), Match box care sets, new coloring books, action figures (batteries included), board games, playdoh, sports balls, puzzles, legos, and other teen itesm. Due to Infection Prevention and allergies, we can only accept items in original packaging. Please bring items to the school’s office. Thanks for caring.
